Quality Care

Our Carers

You will be cared for by professional carers who are specially chosen to give you the highest quality of personal care. All our carers have undergone a rigorous interviewing and checking procedure which includes full referencing, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and enhanced Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) checks.

Our carers have also undergone the most comprehensive training programme in the care sector, which includes an intensive seven day in-house training course followed by three days visiting clients with a supervisor. Staff undertake at least five days of additional annual training and we support our carers to attain their appropriate NVQ2 and NVQ3 qualifications. All our managers have attained, or are working towards, their NVQ4 qualification.

Your Quality Care

Following an assessment of your needs and the facilities in your home we prepare a comprehensive individual care plan that documents how we will support you. This care plan is reviewed regularly to ensure we always provide you with the right level of care. A supervisor will be your carer for the first week to ensure your care plan is exactly right. You will then be introduced to your regular carer.

We aim to introduce you to two additional members of our care team who will provide cover for your regular carer during holidays and sickness. This ensures that you become familiar with them and it also ensures that your care plan is accessible and understood so you always receive the same high quality of care.
